Abstract

The rapid aging population has led to a significant increase in the prevalence of chronic pain among elderly patients, posing a substantial healthcare challenge. This paper explores the latest healthcare innovations aimed at managing chronic pain in elderly patients. It delves into the advancements in pharmacological treatments, non-pharmacological interventions, pain assessment technologies, and the integration of telemedicine in pain management. The paper highlights the importance of personalized care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and patient empowerment in optimizing pain management for the elderly. Furthermore, it discusses the challenges associated with implementing these innovations and suggests potential solutions to improve the quality of life for elderly patients suffering from chronic pain.
