The present study evaluates the effectiveness of Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training programs and their impact on the knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors of participants. MHFA programs are designed to empower individuals to provide initial support to someone who may be experiencing a mental health problem or crisis. This study employed a mixed-methods approach, including both quantitative and qualitative data analysis, to assess the outcomes of these programs. Quantitative data were collected through pre- and post-training surveys, measuring participants' knowledge of mental health issues, confidence in providing support, and willingness to help others. Qualitative data were gathered through interviews with participants to explore their perceptions of the training and its influence on their personal and professional lives. Results indicate that MHFA training programs significantly increase participants' mental health knowledge, enhance their confidence in providing support, and positively alter their attitudes towards seeking help for mental health concerns. Moreover, the study highlights the need for ongoing support and resources to sustain these beneficial changes. The findings suggest that MHFA training programs are an effective strategy for promoting mental health literacy and fostering supportive environments.
