Abstract

This paper examines the implementation and efficacy of patient-centered care models in urban hospitals across Europe. Through a series of case studies, we investigate how these healthcare institutions have adapted their practices to prioritize patient needs, preferences, and outcomes. The analysis focuses on key aspects such as communication strategies, patient engagement, and the integration of technology. Findings reveal that while patient-centered care is a growing trend, challenges remain in ensuring consistent application across diverse cultural, socio-economic, and organizational contexts. The case studies highlight both successful interventions and areas requiring further development, providing valuable insights into the ongoing efforts to enhance the quality and effectiveness of healthcare delivery in urban settings.
