Abstract

The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) has begun to revolutionize various fields, including radiology, where its potential to enhance diagnostic accuracy is immense. This paper explores the role of AI in improving diagnostic accuracy in radiology, focusing on the current state of AI applications in this domain. AI technologies, such as deep learning, have shown significant promise in interpreting medical images, analyzing patterns, and identifying anomalies that may be overlooked by human radiologists. The integration of AI into radiology workflows has the potential to reduce misdiagnoses, increase efficiency, and ultimately improve patient outcomes. This review delves into the various AI techniques used in radiology, their benefits, challenges, and limitations. Additionally, it discusses the ethical considerations and future directions of AI in radiology, highlighting the ongoing research and the potential for further advancements to transform diagnostic practices.
